The first of the monthly World Bellydance Cabaret Happy Hours was a bustling party, with just the right blend of euphony and cacophony. Thanks to everyone who stopped by and sang and drank and danced and ate. We'll be back next month.

Valentines Day

Valentines Day at the Phoenician was also my one year Anniversary there. It turned out to be an evening of bromance.

Whenever I play at the Phoenician I sit across from this shrine, with this picture of this beautiful woman.  Leila started the Phoenician with her husband.  She used her mother's recipe's and became very close to her customers who adored her. The restaurant is the embodiment of her gracious spirit.

Happy Valentine's Day Leila, your brother Naji is doing a fine job.
